I served aboard this vessel from 1954 to 1956 as a Yeoman in the Repair Office on the main deck. I was stationed in Newport, Rhode Island, Fall River, Mass. and eventually decommissioning the ship in Charleston, South Carolina. Following that I was transferred to ComSubLant in New London, Connecticut.
I was a student at Grace from 1971 to 1974 graduating from there with a MDiv. Degree. Grace is located in Winona Lake, Indiana and is an accredited school.
I attended Houghton College, a liberal arts school, located in Western New York in the small village of Houghton. I received a Bachelor of Science Degree (BS) in 1965.
We have been Park Chaplain at this Park for the last thirteen years. It is located in North Fort Myers, Florida. Each Sunday from November to April we conduct worship services in the main club house. We also minister at Fountain View RV Adult Park directly across the road from Raintree Park. Fountain View does not have a web site.
