Greetings Dear Friends:
I can’t believe it’s Christmas already.
I am always thrilled at this time of the year when the majority
of the world grinds to a halt and recognizes the birth of the Christ
child, although most of the pomp and ceremony have more to do with
manmade traditions rather than scriptural teaching.
When did Christmas begin?
Christmas
began in the womb of a virgin girl.
God spent his first nine months on earth as a preborn baby. Fully
alive. Fully human. Fully God
“In
the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was
God...and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us."
– John 1:14
The Word added human nature to His divine nature and Jesus Christ was
born. He is still the Word. He is still divine, holy, unchanging,
pure, forgiving, humble, trustworthy, gentle, kind, and so much more.
He is all man and all God.
May the
meaning of Christmas bring Joy and Gladness to you and your family. |
